What we collect

This website does not store your details on a server. When you use the booking or contact form, your browser opens WhatsApp with your message filled in. Nothing is sent until you press send in WhatsApp, and the message then reaches Gear Heads like any other WhatsApp chat.

A booking message can include your name, mobile number, optional email, car, the services you picked and a preferred day.

How we use it

Only to reply to you about your car: quotes, booking times, job updates and, if you ask for them, care reminders. We never sell or share your personal information with third parties.

How long we keep it

Booking and job records are kept for as long as you are a customer and as required for tax and invoicing records. Ask us to delete your details at any time and we will, except where the law requires us to keep an invoice.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies and runs no advertising or tracking scripts. It remembers, for your current visit only, that you have already seen the opening logo animation. That note stays in your browser and is cleared when you close the tab.

Fonts are served from this website, so loading a page does not contact Google or any other third party.

The map on our Contact and Book pages stays off until you tap Show map. Only then does it load from Google Maps, which may set its own cookies under Google's privacy policy.

Videos on the Home, Work and About pages work the same way. Each one shows a still picture until you tap play, then loads from YouTube in privacy-enhanced mode, which may set its own cookies under Google's privacy policy.
